Music List & Music Ministry Calendar (September 2010 - Cycle C)

Our music ministry provides music for liturgies and brings together parishioners who share a passion for music. All are invited to join the Choirs and instrumental ensembles of Saint Gregory the Great. New adult, teen and child members are always welcome.

Rehearsal Schedule

All rehearsals are in the church unless it is noted on the specific rehearsal below and are subject to rehearsal space availability. Check the Music Ministry Calendar for specific masses and rehearsals.
Saturday 5:00 p.m. Choir: rehearses on Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
Sunday 9:00 a.m. Choir: rehearses on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday 7:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. Choirs: rehearse on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.                                           (No rehearsal on the 2nd Thursday of the month)
Sunday 5:00 p.m. Choir: rehearses on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.

Childrens Choir
 
Children in grades 2 through 8 are invited to sing in the St. Gregory the Great Children's Choir. The choir will begin in September 2010 and run through June 2011.

 

Combined Choirs

The St. Gregory the Great Combined Choirs rehearse once a month to prepare music for special liturgies. This rehearsal is in addition to weekly Sunday choir rehearsals. All parish choirs are invited to share in this ministry. Occasionally the rehearsal is in the hall starting with a potluck at 6:30 p.m.

Upcoming Combined Choirs Rehearsals  Wednesday September 8 (No Potluck) in the church, and Wednesday October 13 (With Potluck) at 6:30 pm in the hall.
