Bible Study
To foster a spirit of fellowship,
to increase the scriptural knowledge,
and foster the Word of God within
the Catholic community of
St. Gregory the Great.
Mission and Purpose
Our Bible Study is a uniquely Catholic experience that follows the prescribed principles in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Dei Verbum (The Second Vatican Council’s Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation). We study topics ranging from a Quick Journey Through the Bible (8 weeks) for those wanting to get started in familiarizing themselves with the Word of God; Bible Timeline – A Story of Salvation (24 weeks) for those wanting to delve deeper into the Word studying the 14 narrative books of the Bible; as well as in depth studies of various books from the Old and New Testaments, such as Psalms, Matthew, Acts and many more. This is accomplished with the assistance of Little Rock Bible Study and The Great Adventures Bible Study series.
Ministry members range in Biblical knowledge from novice to experienced. Our goal is to study, celebrate and live out His Word through Scripture within the Traditions of the Catholic Church.
Meetings
Groups meet in the homes of parishioners; meeting times are by group preference, with most taking place on weekday evenings at 7:00 pm, and some morning and weekend times are available.
