Faith Formation for Jr. High (5th-8th)

The Faith Formation Program works in partnership with you
to nurture and enhance your child’s Catholic faith
and provide Sacramental Preparation.

Mission and Purpose

All Faith Formation Programs at Saint Gregory the Great flow from the Faith Formation Office and are designed to help children grow in faith through a variety of approaches. The middle school program focuses on community building as well as continuing to reinforce their catechetical foundation. Registration is Required.

All sessions feature faith growth activities as well as time for socializing with peers. They also facilitate the transition to high school years and continued parish involvement. Year-end retreats round out the program with a combined 6th and 7th grade retreat and an 8th grade Lock-In retreat.

Schedule

The Middle School Faith Formation is held on Thursdays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sundays from 6:15 – 8:00pm in the Parish Hall according to the following schedule:

  • Fifth, 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays
    Or
  • Weekly on Sunday from 6:15 – 8:00 p.m. (after the Youth Mass)
