“Christians speak to God through prayer. Prayer is an important part of the Christian’s life; we pray in words and sometimes we pray in song. As James tells us, “Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him..in the name of the Lord.”
James 5:13-14

Please pray for our wonderful Candidates & Catechumens!

What is a Prayer Partner? A prayer partner is an individual who wishes to ‘adopt’ a Candidate or Catechumen of our current RCIA process, providing spiritual support by keeping him or her in your daily prayers. As a prayer partner, there are no meetings to attend and your Candidate or Catechumen will not know that you are praying for them.

On the Saturday prior to Holy Week, our Candidates and Catechumens will be attending their final retreat.  We will ask you to prepare a card of congratulations and good wishes that we can present to them during that retreat so they can learn of the special blessing of your prayers. In the past, RCIA Candidates have shared how truly blessed they felt when they received their cards.

Your gift of prayer is greatly appreciated!
