Thank you to all the committee members who planned and orchestrated the Mass and Party honoring Father Nick’s Golden Julibee and Retirement! It was a splendid event and a wonderful opportunity to say goodbye to our beloved pastor before he begins his retirement. Everything was perfect and a good time was had by all.
May God richly bless Father Nick as he embarks on this new journey. He will be greatly missed by all!
If you were not able to attend this historic event, please enjoy the photos, video, and recording of the livestreamed Mass.

LAST CALL! Tickets to Fr Nick’s Golden Jubilee and Retirement PAR–TEE will ONLY be available through June 1st online or in the parish office. Tickets will not be sold after masses this weekend. The ticket Price is $50 per person. Only two tickets per person, adults only. There will be no reserved seating; the only exception will be Father Nick’s family and invited clergy.

The interest surrounding Father Nick’s Golden Jubilee and Retirement Party has been ramping up for some time. We are sensitive about being able to accommodate all that may wish to attend. Our parish hall does have a finite limit. In that regard, we have some wonderful news. Father Nick approved a way to expand our venue with the addition of a ‘wedding-type tent’ adjacent to the hall. The setup – tables, chairs, and tableware will be the same, as will the lighting and audiovisuals that will be in the hall. What is happening in the hall will be broadcast live in the ‘Glamping Tent’!

Our caterer, Personal Touch Dining, based in Scripps Ranch has stepped up to accommodate a larger-than-planned crowd. Speaking of crowds, parking might be a challenge, so please carpool or consider ride-sharing. There will be designated space for Uber/Lyft vehicles.

The celebration begins Saturday, June 17th with 5:00 pm Mass concelebrated with Cardinal Robert McElroy. A reception will follow in the Bell Tower area where appetizers and refreshments will be served. Guests are requested to remain in the area until ‘Grace’ is said, at which time the doors to the main Parish Hall and the adjacent Glamping Tent will open for a lavish buffet dinner with complimentary wine, beer, tea, and water. Irish music and singing are planned along with memorable moments from Father Nick’s life. Come and help Fr. Nick celebrate.
