Backpack and School Supplies Drive
To Benefit our Sister Parish: Our Lady of Angels
August 1-9, 2026
Last year, through your generosity, the Sister Parish Outreach Ministry filled and delivered to Our Lady of Angels Students 176 backpacks, each stuffed with a year’s worth of student supplies – pencils, notebooks, folders, and more, plus classroom supplies such as copy paper, whiteboard markers, wet wipes, etc. Our actual cost last year was $56 per student. This year, our estimated cost is $65, a 15% increase over 2025. The student count also increased to a total of 190!
You can be sure that a (suggested) donation of $65 will make one student very happy and provide a whole year’s school supplies! However, a donation of any amount in cash, check, or online gift will help and be much appreciated. Donations will be collected after each Mass on August 1 & 2, and 8 & 9. THANK YOU!
Our Lady of Angels School is located in a neighborhood that includes Our Lady of Angels Parish and Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. The school provides financial assistance to a significant number of its students.
