“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.”
Matthew 25: 35-36

This Ministry is made up of caring stewards who provide spiritual support to the sick and homebound members of Saint Gregory the Great. In addition to weekly communion and prayers, the visits allow our parish community to reach out in the name of Christ and bring His healing and merciful love to those unable to participate fully in parish life.

Please contact us to arrange a home visit.

May we bring Holy Communion to you in your home?

“Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist.”
Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Parishioners at Saint Gregory the Great are now able to request Holy Communion to be brought to them in their home! Our ministers are eager to serve those who are not able to join us at Mass on Sunday. These ministers have all been vaccinated and will observe all protocols for safe visits. For those who are not comfortable in the group setting, this is an easy way to come back to the Eucharist.

Holy Communion is an intimate encounter with Christ in which we Sacramentally receive Christ into our bodies. Precious graces come to us through the reception of Holy Communion.

It is as simple as a phone call to the parish office. We are here to help you increase your faith, grow in Christ, and be an integral part of our parish community.
