We invite you to partner with us in God’s mission through your generous support of the Annual Paulist Appeal. No gift is too small or too large. I ask you to invite God into your discernment of how much to give this year. It is only through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the support of you, our partners in mission, that we can continue to share the gift of our Catholic faith.
May Saint Paul intercede for you, your family, and our Church. God bless you and your generous gift.

The Paulist Fathers President
Dear Partners in Mission,
I pray the New Year is enriched with hope for you and your family. We pray your support of our mission through the Annual Paulist Appeal sustains our Paulist community and our various ministries.
I ask you to consider making a gift to the 2025 Annual Paulist Appeal, Lighting the Path of Hope: Celebrating Our Faithful Mission. Your contribution directly sustains the ministries that touch the lives of people from all walks of life – Catholic and non-Catholic – across the United States and abroad. Your vital support enables us to further our charism to spread the word of God, to care for our elderly priests, nurture vocations, support women in Church leadership and ministry positions, address toxic polarization in our nation, and minister to young adults, people of color, and those who identify as LGBTQ+. Your support also provides resources to our Paulist parishes and campus ministry communities through impactful initiatives such as our Mission Impact grants, which support local initiatives that align with the mission priorities of the Paulist Fathers.
To support our mission, I prayerfully invite you to consider donating the median gift of last year’s Paulist Appeal of $100.00.
As you discern your gift, remember that every commitment to the Annual Paulist Appeal makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve and is a wonderful way to share our blessings with others and demonstrate our gratitude to God for all He has given us. In a world in need of hope, your generosity serves as a light, illuminating paths for so many to encounter God’s boundless love.
Thank you for considering this invitation to partner with us this year. With prayerful best wishes for you and your loved ones, I remain,
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Very Rev. René Constanza, C.S.P.

Our Sincere Appreciation
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
We are very grateful for your generous support each year for the Annual Paulist Appeal! Your active participation, prayers, and financial support are essential elements of everything we do.
In 2025, we are seeking to increase the percentage of our parishioners who participate in the Annual Paulist Appeal.
One way we can achieve this goal is for more parishioners to provide their name and address on a reply envelope at the time they make a contribution. While cash donations in the collection basket are appreciated, we hope to connect more of those donations with contact information — so that all donors may be properly thanked and the Paulist Fathers can stay in better touch.
Thanks again for being part of the Paulist family! You are helping to build up the Kingdom of God!
You and your loved ones are in our constant prayers.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Bart Landry, C.S.P.
Fr. Jerry Tully, C.S.P.
Seminarian Spotlight
James Marquez, C.S.P
Your contributions to the Annual Paulist Appeal fund graduate school tuition, housing, and more for our Paulist novices and seminarians, including Paulist seminarian James Marquez.
He entered the Paulist novitiate in 2021 and made his First Promises in 2022.
A native of Southern California, James earned a bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA in Los Angeles. He was a student leader at the University Catholic Center at UCLA.
“That’s where I met Paulist Fr. Peter Abdella who was instrumental in helping me see a different side of the faith and helped me grow deeper in my faith,” remembered James. “Then Paulist Fr. Jamie Baca — I really identified with him and how he ministered to people.”
James is currently in the midst of his pastoral year at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.

“There is no other way for perfection for the great mass of Christians than in the performance of the common duties of life with an eye to God. The highest noblest and most perfect life is in the fulfillment of those daily duties imposed upon us by Almighty God. This is devotion.” Isaac T. Hecker
