Would you like support in growing your marriage into the joy-filled union God intended it to be? We all know that family life can be busy and hectic and sometimes hard. Frequently, competing responsibilities cause us to drift apart from our partners as we try to cope with all that life demands. St. Gregory the Great would like to support you with the time and tools to intentionally focus on your marriage, deepen your relationship, and elevate your life together to one of joy with your best friend!
Consider the time and money we all spend on continuing education for our careers and even our hobbies. Why wouldn’t you want to devote the same effort to your most important vocation of marriage? You wouldn’t plant a garden, then neglect it and expect it to thrive, right? Marriages NEED maintenance and attention!
Grace Marriage is an ongoing pathway designed to help you grow your Sacrament into what God intended it to be – a joyful reflection of His love for us – unconditional and everlasting. St. Gregory the Great will begin our Grace Marriage Ministry on May 3 from 8:00 am to Noon, with registration offered throughout April. Couples meet quarterly on Saturday Mornings (Think of it as Breakfast with your Beloved!) in the Parish Hall.
Grace Marriage is NOT counseling – 80 to 90% of your time will be spent one-on-one with your spouse, identifying and discussing the specific areas of your marriage that YOU want to work on. There will be no requirement to “speak in front of a group.” But there WILL be time for socialization with other like-minded couples because YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
The Cost is $189/couple/year and covers workbooks, videos, and encouraging E-mail homework assignments during the intervening 12 weeks between sessions. Scholarships are available, and everyone is invited! Couples may join in at any time during the year.
Together, we believe we can change the culture of marriage from one of co-existence to one of joy! Our children, our community, and our world are waiting for us to do so!
