“And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.  When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, ‘Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'”
Mark 10:13-14

The Faith Formation process for children, Pre-K through 5th Grade, is an integrated curriculum that consists of Catholic Catechism, Scripture, music, and Liturgical experiences in an age-appropriate format. Recognizing parents as the primary catechists in their children’s lives, the Faith Formation staff provides families with the tools and coaching they need to enrich the faith growth of their children.

The preparation for First Eucharist and First Reconciliation occurs during the second year of faith formation. The program includes guided instructional sessions and home study materials. Concurrent enrollment in both sacramental preparation and faith formation is required.  Click here for more information.

Requirements

Family Registration:

We want to welcome you to both the faith formation program and to our parish family. Visit our parish registration page to register.

Weekly Mass:

It is expected that parents and children will celebrate weekly Mass together. Attendance at Mass is an integral and essential part of the formation of each child’s faith.

Faith Formation Sessions:

Children are expected to be on time and consistent with attendance. Tardiness is disruptive and disrespectful to the teacher (Catechist) and the other students.

Absences:

Parents are to notify the Catechist if their child will be absent. Absences will be considered excused only when make-up materials have been completed and turned in to the teacher.
