Fear of rejection is one of my greatest struggles. Jesus, who came down to Earth in the Flesh to experience every Human emotion, was rejected both by those who didn’t know Him and His closest loved ones, his disciples. I cannot begin to imagine the agony he experienced in the Garden of Gethsemane.

During Christ’s brief physical time on Earth, many struggled to understand his teachings, and the same remains true in our present day. One of His greatest teachings is that of His Infinite Mercy. Whether over 2000 years ago, or still today, many of us struggle with the ability to be forgiven. Yet there is nothing we can do that will disqualify us from His infinite love. We are His children, who can always return to Him and know that His love never falters, if we so ask for it.

Especially in today’s world and age, we must remind one another of the unconditional, perfect mercy God desires to gift us with. We were born for this time. Our existence is not a random occurrence, but we were created for God. Let us remind ourselves what Christ taught us through His Divine Mercy, that He gave blood and water as a fount of mercy. Jesus, I trust in You.
