“The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David, a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord.”

Pastor's Letter

“Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: the young woman, pregnant and about to bear a son, shall name him Emmanuel.” –Isa. 7:14

Dear Parishioners,

The birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, reminds us that God came to live among us, to be close to us, and to save us from our sins. Jesus gave us Himself as a gift. By sharing in this gift, our eyes are opened to the marvels of His love, our ears hear the tender words He speaks to us, and our hearts are filled with the peace of His Spirit.

As we journey toward the manger, we will celebrate because no matter what may be happening in the world, we will join the angels in song on Christmas Eve when we celebrate the birth of our Messiah. May we be people of faith and joy who rejoice in the light and hope that Christmas brings.

A very blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Fr. Bart Landry, C.S.P.
